‘2023 Showed Me Shege’ – Wizkid Prays For Better 2024
Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, commonly known as Wizkid, a renowned Afrobeats musician, recently expressed his struggles and challenges throughout the year 2023.
He shared his sentiments through a post on his Instagram story, where he conveyed his hopes for a better year ahead in 2024.
It is worth noting that Wizkid’s emotional state could be related to the passing of his mother.
In August 2023, while touring in Europe for his album, ‘More Love Less Ego,’ Wizkid tragically lost his mother.
“23 show me shege! 24 be good to me!.”
This devastating event deeply impacted him, and he considers it to be the most profound pain he has ever experienced in his life.
