Stay Away From Ododo’s Inauguration Venue – Police Warn Criminals
The Kogi State Police Command issued a stern warning to political thugs and criminals, cautioning them to avoid the location of Governor-elect Alhaji Usman Ododo’s inauguration on Saturday.
In a statement released by the command’s spokesperson, SP Williams Ovye-Aya, State Commissioner of Police Bethrand Onuoha emphasized the consequences that would be faced if anyone attempted to disturb the prevailing peace in the state.
Onuoha said, “We are determined to deal decisively with any political thug or miscreant, who wants to disrupt the peace of the state.
“This warning became imperative in view of intelligence that revealed that some hoodlums are planning to attack guests/visitors, who will be attending the inaugural ceremony in the state.
“It further revealed that the planned attack is aimed at disrupting the peace and thereby create disharmony among the citizens of Kogi.”
The statement made it clear that serious resistance would be met against any such disruptions.
