‘I Was Framed’ – Lil Frosh Pleads Davido For Career Revival
Lil Frosh, a Nigerian singer and former signee of Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), has taken to the internet to plead with his former boss for a second chance.
Recall that In 2020, Lil Frosh was accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Gift Camille. Camille’s brother, Michael, shared photos of his sister’s bruised face on social media and accused Lil Frosh of repeated assaults.
The singer was subsequently arraigned before a Yaba magistrate court and detained in Ikoyi prison.
In response to these events, Davido terminated Lil Frosh’s contract with DMW.
However, Camille withdrew her case against him in 2022 after reaching a settlement outside of court.
On Saturday, Lil Frosh posted on his Instagram page, maintaining his innocence and requesting another opportunity from Davido to revive his career.
“God knows I didn’t beat Gemini, I was framed, I was blackmailed. I still can’t get my career after all I paid her because of the lies that were told against me.
“Nobody gave me listening ears. I tried to explain to my ex-boss @davido but he didn’t want to listen because of his zero tolerance for hitting women. Help me beg Davido to give me a chance again.”
