JUST IN : FCT Residents Raid NEMA Warehouse Amid Hardship
In the Federal Capital Territory, some residents looted a warehouse believed to be owned by the National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria due to the prevailing economic challenges experienced across the country.
Reports indicate that the warehouse is located in the Phase 3 area of the FCT in Abuja.
Recall that recently, human rights groups, the Joint Action Front and the Coalition for Revolution hit the streets of Lagos State to protest against the skyrocketing price of food and the high cost of living in the country.
Prior to this event, there was also a youth protest in Ibadan on Monday highlighting the same concerns about escalating food prices and the economic conditions.
