Tiwa Savage Announces Date For Debut Movie 

Nigerian musician Tiwa Savage has unveiled the official release date for her much-awaited first movie, ‘Water And Garri.’

Having hinted at her venture into the movie industry earlier, Savage took to social media on Thursday, April 4, 2024, to share the eagerly anticipated release date.

She revealed that ‘Water And Garri‘ will premiere on May 10, 2024, exclusively on the renowned global streaming platform, Prime Video.

Sharing a promotional flier showing herself and Nollywood actors Jemima Osunde and Mike Afolayan, Savage wrote: “My beautiful people, our movie @waterandgarrifilm has a date. See you May 10th @primevideo.”

This film, which shares the same title as her recent EP, ‘Water And Garri,’ is produced under the guidance of Tiwa Savage herself.
