BREAKING: Abducted Channels TV Reporter Regains Freedom
Joshua Rogers, the Channels Television journalist who was abducted in Rivers State, has been freed.
He was taken by his captors on Thursday evening around 9 pm from his home.
The abductors, armed, seized him and drove off in his vehicle.
Reports indicate that they later contacted his spouse, demanding a ransom of N30 million.
Following the incident, there was significant coverage of his abduction, with various cadres appealing for his immediate release.
It remains uncertain whether any payment was made in exchange for his freedom.
Rogers was later seen at his older brother’s residence, where he was surrounded by family and friends offering prayers of gratitude.
At present, the Rivers State Police Command has not issued an official statement regarding the ordeal.
