Senator Rafiu, who served Kwara South Senatorial District in the eighth National Assembly, passed away on Wednesday morning.
His family statement highlighted his legacy of commitment, service, and significant influence.
“We kindly request your prayers and support during this difficult time. His burial arrangements will be communicated in due course.
“We pray Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Al-jannah Firdaus. Ameen,” the statement added.
