Mr. Bright Ehigiamusoe, the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in ward 7 of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area in Edo State, has officially switched his allegiance to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
It is worth noting that Barrister Osarodion Ogie, the PDP deputy governorship candidate, originates from ward 7 in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area.
Ehigiamusoe cited his decision to leave the PDP as a strategic move to actively support Senator Monday Okpebholo, the APC candidate, in the upcoming election.
According to him, “I issued Ogie his PDP membership card in Ikpoba-Okha. Today, I am supporting Monday Okpebholo for governor.
“The APC candidate and his deputy are youths. We will work deliver them in Ikpoba-Okha.”
