EURO 2024: Referee For England vs Spain Final Announced
The UEFA governing body announced on Wednesday that Francois Letexier will be the head referee for the highly anticipated Euro 2024 final between England and Spain, scheduled for Sunday.
This will be Letexier’s fourth match officiation in the tournament. The 35-year-old referee has been an international official since 2017.
England secured their spot in the final with a thrilling 2-1 comeback victory over the Netherlands on Wednesday, while Spain defeated France by the same scoreline on Tuesday to book their place.
Letexier will be accompanied by French assistant referees Cyril Mugnier and Mehdi Rahmouni, with Polish referee Szymon Marciniak serving as the fourth official.
