BREAKING: Ex England Manager, Sven-Goran Eriksson Dies At 76
Renowned football manager Sven-Goran Eriksson passes away at 76.
His family announced his death on Monday, following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
“Sven-Goran Eriksson has passed away,” the statement read.
“After a long illness, SGE died during the morning at home surrounded by family.”
Eriksson had publicly shared his terminal diagnosis earlier this year, stating he had approximately one year left to live.
The Swedish football legend had a distinguished career, managing esteemed European clubs including Benfica, Roma, Fiorentina, Sampdoria, and Lazio, in addition to his tenure as England manager.
