BREAKING: Nollywood Director Dimeji Ajibola Passes On

Renounce Nollywood director and editor Dimeji Ajibola is dead.

Ajibola is said to have died in the early hours of November 3, 2024, after a brief illness.

Actor Bolanle Ninalowo, while confirming the demise in a captioned photo on Instagram, which reads: “I love you, brother, and I miss you, Dimeji Ajibola. May God heal your family and loved ones. Till we meet again, didi dox, rest on the champ.”

The deceased was the director of a 2023 Nigerian crime thriller series, ‘Shanty Town,’ and also the brain behind ‘Hoodrush,’ a 2012 urban musical film that won multiple awards, including Best Movie at the 2012 Green Me Film Festival in Germany, among others.
