In observance of Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively, the Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Friday, April 18, and Monday, April 21, 2025, as public holidays. This declaration was made by the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on Tuesday.
In his address to Christians on this special day, Dr. Tunji-Ojo stressed the importance of emulating the values of love and sacrifice, which are demonstrated by Jesus Christ’s death on the cross for the salvation of humanity.
