President Tinubu Pledges Enhanced Welfare for Nigerian Workers on May Day

President Bola Tinubu has given a strong assurance to Nigerian workers that his administration will keep prioritising their welfare.
Speaking on May 1, the President called workers “the engine of our economy and the secret to our nation’s growth,” recognizing their indispensable role in national development.
In his message on X, Tinubu extended his greetings to all workers-whether in government or private sectors, entrepreneurs or employees, young or old-whose efforts contribute significantly to the progress of their communities and the country.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to building a fair and inclusive economy where labour is respected and rewarded, concluding with: “Together, we will make Nigeria great again. Happy Worker’s Day, Nigeria!”.
