Why Boniface Orders Fabrizio Romano To Take Down Failed Milan Transfer Report
Super Eagles forward and Bayer Leverkusen star Victor Boniface has reportedly instructed football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano to delete a recent post concerning his collapsed transfer.
Boniface was close to sealing a move to Serie A giants AC Milan following weeks of speculation and negotiations between both clubs.
However, the deal fell through over the weekend after the Nigerian striker was said to have failed his medical.
Romano first broke the news, sparking widespread debate in Nigeria.
According to reports gathered, days before the medical, veteran Italian coach Fabio Capello had already voiced criticism of Milan’s pursuit of Boniface, citing certain concerns.
In light of the developments, Boniface has now demanded that the transfer update be taken down.
