Senator Ned Nwoko has finally responded to the viral video showing his wife, popular actress Regina Daniels, in a distressed state, describing her recent behavior as “drug-induced” and an act of “unprovoked carnage.”

In a detailed post accompanied by a short video shared via his Instagram handle, @princenednwoko, on Sunday, the lawmaker alleged that Regina was struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, which he claimed was the major cause of the ongoing marital crisis.

“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem.

“She must continue her rehabilitation programme, or I fear for her life and safety,” he wrote.

According to Nwoko, the actress allegedly went on a violent outburst in his absence, attacking domestic staff and destroying property within their home.

“She slapped and hit three staff in the past 48 hours and destroyed property, including cars and windows, for no just cause.

“Now she has moved to a place where she will have unrestricted access to drugs,” the senator alleged.

He stated that he had offered Regina two rehabilitation options, one in Asokoro and another in Jordan “where she would not have access to drugs.”

The senator further alleged that the chaotic scene was worsened by the interference of Regina’s close friends, whom he accused of being her “drug suppliers.”

“While I took Moon to the hospital, a scene of chaos unfolded at home, orchestrated by Sammy, Regina’s main drug supplier.

“Another known supplier of drugs to Regina is the tiny evil devil called Ann,”he alleged.

His statement followed reports of a viral video posted on Saturday, showing Regina Daniels visibly upset and shouting during a confrontation, which sparked widespread public concern.

In the footage, Regina could be heard saying, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my own house, I am a Queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”

Reacting to the incident, Regina’s brother, Ojeogwu Samuel Danhillman, popularly known as Sammy West, took to Instagram to accuse Nwoko of assaulting his sister and vowed to protect her.

“Anywhere wey man dey beat woman, whether na my sister or not, I go fight with my blood,” he wrote.

As of now, the actual cause of the altercation remains uncertain, as neither Regina nor her representatives have issued any public response to the senator’s claims.

Regina Daniels, who tied the knot with Nwoko in 2019, has frequently been in the public spotlight alongside the politician and businessman.

Their marriage, notable for its 40-year age gap, has consistently stirred public debate and media attention.
