What Trump promised Nigeria in phone conversation with president Buhari

President Donald Trump had a telephone conversation with President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, noting that the United States stands with Nigeria over the coronavirus pandemic fight.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the minister of information, Lai Mohammed, who disclosed this at the media briefing of the presidential task force on COVID-19, the US president promised to send across ventilators to Nigeria.
The minister of information said Buhari briefed the US president about the steps Nigeria is taking to stop the spread of the deadly virus.
“President Muhammadu Buhari today had a phone conversation with President Donald Trump, at the request of the American President,” he said.
The conversation centred on Nigeria’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. President Buhari used the opportunity to brief the American President on the steps that Nigeria is taking to contain the spread of the disease.

In the mean time, Onyxnews Nigeria reports that Nigeria’s recorded one hundred and ninty five (195) new cases of the pandemic on Tuesday which made the total number of the virus hit one thousand and five hundred and thirty-two (1532) with two hundred and fifty-five (255) people discharged and forty-four (44) deaths recorded so far
