Tribunal fails Dino Melaye, see his reactions in a video

Senator Dino Melaye, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the November 16, 2019, Kogi-West senatorial election, has reacted to his loss.
The former lawmaker was disappointed at the National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal.
Onyxnews Nigeria understands that the tribunal hearing the dispute arising from the Kogi West senatorial district election outcome had given its verdict in favor of Senator Smart Adeyemi.
The tribunal in its ruling on Wednesday dismissed the petition by Dino Melaye and the PDP.
The three judges of the tribunal were unanimous that the petitioners failed to prove their case.
It will be recalled Melaye and the PDP challenged the result of the election declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) which saw Smart Adeyemi of the All Progressive Congress (APC) emerge as Senator representing the Kogi West constituency.
Reacting in a video on the micro blogging site, Twitter, Dino Melaye made the statement that he never expected to win at the election petition tribunal.
He expressed disappointment in the ruling and disclosed that he will be appealing the judgment.
Melaye, however, called on his supporters to stay away from violence, remain calm and law-abiding.
