Buruji Kashamu begged for forgiveness before his death.
OnyxNews Nigeria had reported on that Senator Buruji Kashamu died of coronavirus. Before his death, Buruji Kashamu was the immediate past senator representing Ogun East at the Nigerian Senate.
62-year-old Buruji, who represented the senatorial district in the 8th National Assembly. Senator Buruji Kashamu died on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at First Cardiology Consultants in Lagos.
However, 10 days after he died, a video has emerged showing the moment Buruji Kashamu begged for forgiveness before he died of COVID-19.
The video which showed late Senator Kashamu Buruji seeking forgiveness from billionaire businessman, Chief Kessington Adebutu, shortly before his death, has gone viral on various social media platforms.
Before Kashamu died, the video showed that had called Adebutu from his sickbed to seek for forgiveness over the differences they had from a business deal that went wrong.
In the video, Kashamu, a former PDP chieftain in Ogun state, spoke in Yoruba, pleading with the businessman to forgive him for any wrongdoing.
On his part, Adebutu popularly known as Baba Ijebu accepted his forgiveness but also asked Kashamu to withdraw all the lawsuits he filed against him to show he is serious in his bid to seek for forgiveness, which Kashamu vowed to do.
