BREAKING: WAEC Reveals Date To Release 2020 SSCE Results
WAEC on Sunday revealed date to release 2020 SSCE results.
OnyxNews Nigeria reports that the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has revealed that the results of the 2020 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) would be released on Monday, November 2, 2020.
This online news platform understands that the results had been postponed following the recent protest and violence in the country.
The Examination Board had said the unrest in the country affected some of its offices and operations across the nation.
While giving an update on Sunday, WAEC wrote on micro blogging site, Twitter, that: “This is to inform candidates that sat West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates, 2020 that the results of that exam will be released by @waecnigeria tomorrow, Monday, November 2, 2020 by 10:30am,” WAEC tweeted.
OnyxNews Nigeria can recall that the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination was held on 17th of August 2020 and Saturday, 12th of September. The council was expected to release the results after 45 days, that is October 27.
