Buhari has ordered police and military personnel to shoot anybody with AK47.
OnyxNews Nigeria reports that the President Muhammadu Buhari in reaction to the kidnappings in Zamfara state and other parts of Nigeria, has ordered officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and soldiers of the Nigerian Army to shoot “anybody caught with AK47/sophisticated weapons in Nigeria.”
This online news platform reports that the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, made this public during an interview with BBC Hausa on Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
In a tweet, Abdulbaki Jari, the Social Media Producer for BBC Hausa service, quoted the Presidential spokesman to have said this while speaking to BBC Hausa.

The Social Media Producer for BBC Hausa service tweeted: “Zamfara kidnappings: President Buhari has ordered that anybody caught with AK47/sophisticated weapons in Nigeria should be shot, adding that “Garba Shehu tells BBC Hausa.”
