Singer Rema Promised To Win Grammy
Popular Nigeria singer Divine Ikubor, also known as Rema, has expressed his determination to win a Grammy this year.
Despite not receiving a nomination for the 2024 Grammys, Rema made this statement during his visit to Tony Elumelu, a billionaire businessman, at his Lagos mansion.
The ‘Calm Down’ singer had the opportunity to interact with the billionaire’s family and presented them with an exclusive album copy and his merchandise, Air Rema, as gifts.
Rema acknowledged Elumelu for his continuous support for the Nigerian music industry.
In a video clip shared on the his Instagram page, Rema said: “Thank you for what you have done and the support you have for the music industry. I am grateful, it means a lot to me. This year I am bringing the Grammy.”
It should be noted that Rema was not included in the 2024 Grammy nominations, and the next Grammy Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in 2025.
