BALLON D’Or 2025: Voting For Winner Closes
The voting window for the 2025 Ballon d’Or has officially closed.
The winner will be revealed on September 22 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
Thirty players have made the final shortlist for football’s most prestigious individual honour, which celebrates the best performer of the year.
Among the leading contenders are Ousmane Dembélé, Lamine Yamal, and Achraf Hakimi.
Finalists are judged on three key criteria: individual brilliance, team success and trophies, as well as sportsmanship and fair play.
Voting is carried out by journalists from the top 100 FIFA-ranked nations.
Each journalist submits a ranked list of their top 10 players, with the overall winner decided by total points accumulated.
