President Buhari takes fresh ‘approach’ against coronavirus

Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the Presidency has revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari is taking a fresh approach to wage war against the outbreak of coronavirus in Nigeria.
This reliable online news platform understands that the President is taking a ‘two step approach’ to fight the pandemic.
Onyxnews Nigeria also reports that the presidency explained that the approach has to do with the security of the lives of the Nigerians and people living in Nigeria, as well as easing the effect of the pandemic virus on businesses in the country.
The Presidency revealed this in a tweet on its verified Twitter handle on Sunday.
According to the Presidency, Buhari was taking the approach as a national response to the virus.
“In Nigeria, we are taking a two-step approach. First, to protect the lives of our fellow Nigerians and residents living here and second, to preserve the livelihoods of workers and business owners,” it said.

Nigeria has recorded five fresh cases of coronavirus as total number of confirmed cases in the country rises to 323 in the country.
This was announced via Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC)‘s micro-blogging site, Twitter.
Giving the update, the (NCDC) on Sunday said five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows: two in Lagos, two in Kwara and one in Katsina.
On Sunday night, April 12, there are 323 confirmed cases of COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 85 have been discharged with 10 death cases.
The agency further explained that there are 19 states with confirmed cases of coronavirus in Nigeria, namely:
Lagos- 176 FCT- 56 Osun- 20 Edo- 12 Oyo- 11 Ogun- 7 Bauchi- 6 Kaduna- 6 Akwa Ibom- 5 Katsina-5 Kwara- 4 Delta- 3 Enugu- 2 Ekiti- 2 Rivers-2 Ondo- 2 Benue- 1 Niger- 1 Anambra- 1 Kano-1.
