Nigeria records new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), see breakdown for each state
Nigeria has recorded new cases of ravaging coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the announcement that 276 new cases of deadly pandemic has been detected in Nigeria, making the total number of cases of the deadly virus 8344 in the country.
This reliable online news platform understands that the NCDC confirmed 276 new cases of COVID-19 via the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Tuesday night, May 26.
NCDC recorded of the 276 COVID-19 cases confirmed on Tuesday night, 161 were detected in Lagos, Lagos-161 Rivers-36 Edo-27 Kaduna-19 Nasarawa-10 Oyo-6 Kano-4 Delta-3 Ebonyi-3 Gombe-2 Ogun-1 Ondo-1 Borno-1 Abia-1 and 1 in Bauchi.
NCDC wrote on Twitter: “276 new cases of #COVID19; Lagos-161 Rivers-36 Edo-27 Kaduna-19 Nasarawa-10 Oyo-6 Kano-4 Delta-3 Ebonyi-3 Gombe-2 Ogun-1 Ondo-1 Borno-1 Abia-1 Bauchi-1 8344 cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 2385 Deaths: 249.”

Meanwhile, with the new cases of two hundred and seventy six (276), death cases are two hundred and fourty nine (249) and dicharged cases are two thousand, three hundred and eighty five (2385), so the total cases of the disease in Nigeria as of Tuesday night, 26 May 2020 is eight thousand, three hundred fourty four (8344).
