Nigeria records new cases of coronavirus, total nearly 12000

Nigeria has recorded new cases of deadly coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic, makes the total cases nearly 12000 in the country.

Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known that 328 new cases of ravaging COVID-19 has been detected in Nigeria, bringing the total number of cases of the deadly virus to 11844 in the country.

This reliable online news platform understands that the NCDC confirmed 328 new cases of COVID-19 via the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Friday night, June 5.

NCDC recorded of the 328 COVID-19 cases confirmed on Friday night, 121 were detected in Lagos, FCT-70 Bauchi-25 Rivers-18 Oyo-16 Kaduna-15 Gombe-14 Edo-13 Ogun-13 Jigawa-8 Enugu-6 Kano-5 Osun-2 Ondo-2.

The agency tweeted: “328 new cases of #COVID19; Lagos-121 FCT-70 Bauchi-25 Rivers-18 Oyo-16 Kaduna-15 Gombe-14 Edo-13 Ogun-13 Jigawa-8 Enugu-6 Kano-5 Osun-2 Ondo-2 11844 cases of #COVID19Nigeria Discharged: 3696 Deaths: 333.”

With the new cases of three hundred and twenty eight (328)death cases are three hundred and thirty three (333) and dicharged cases are three thousand, six hundred and ninty six (3696), so the total cases of the disease in Nigeria as of Friday night, 5 June 2020 is eleven thousand, eight hundred forty four (11844).
