Abia records highest as Nigeria records new cases of coronavirus

Nigeria has recorded new cases of deadly coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic, with highest cases detected in Abia State, South East of Nigeria.

Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this public that 260 new cases of raging COVID-19 has been detected in Nigeria, bringing the total number of cases of the deadly pandemic to 12486 in the country.

NCDC recorded of the 260 COVID-19 cases confirmed on Sunday night, 67 were seen in Abia, FCT-40 Lagos-38 Ogun-19 Gombe-16 Edo-14 Imo-9 Kwara-8 Katsina-8 Nasarawa-8 Borno-8 Kaduna-6 Bauchi-5 Ekiti-4 Niger-2 Ondo-2 Plateau-2 Kano-2 Sokoto-2.

With the new cases of three hundred and twenty eight (260), death cases are three hundred and fifty four (354) and discharged cases are three thousand, nine hundred and fifty nine (3959), so the total cases of the disease in Nigeria as of Sunday night, 7 June 2020 is twelve thousand, four hundred and eighty six (12486).
