BREAKING: Atiku Abubakar set to contest 2023 presidential election

Nigeria’s former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 election, will contest for the 2023 presidential election.
This was revealed by one of the former vice-president’s son, Adamu Abubakar.
While presenting the one-year score card of his ministry as the Commissioner for Works and Energy in Adamawa State, Adamu said his father will again run for president in 2023.
“Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with my father contesting for the presidency.
“In 2023, my father will be aspiring to the number one office in the land because he has been an astute, strategic, master politician for almost four decades,” he said.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that Atiku contested the last presidential election against President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Buhari polled 15,191,847 votes, while Atiku got 11,262,978 votes.
