Edo 2020: Again, Primate Ayodele’s prophecy comes to pass
The politics in Edo state has been an interesting and fearful one with trouble being thrown from every side.
Unlike previous years when the battle is always between a ruling party and the strongest opposition, in Edo state, the table has turned as the battle for power is within the ruling party with the major actors being the governor of the state, Godwin Obaseki and the National chairman, now suspended, of the All progressive congress, Adams Oshiomhole.
The battle between the two can be likened to a fight between two elephants, bringing the grass to suffering. The war has been dirty between them that it has distablized the All progressive congress in the state, caused disunity among party leaders in the state.
Trouble began when Obaseki tried to stop Adams Oshiomhole from entering Edo state by court order because he feels his presence will disrupt things.
Noticing this, Adams Oshiomhole fought with his last breath to make sure Obaseki doesn’t survive the troubles of the APC screening committee for the primaries, which informed the decision of Obaseki to resign from APC.
This reliable online news platform understands that it went rough again when an appeal court upheld Adams Oshiomhole’s suspension as the APC National chairman after he was earlier suspended by a high court in Abuja.
These happenings have drawn so much attention to Edo state primary election. Lots of people have aired their opinion about the situation and one of the loudest voice in this is popular Prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele.
Primate Ayodele is not a political commentator, but a well known clergyman who foresees most of the things that happen in the political atmosphere of nations.
You might want to Say God isn’t involved in politics but that’s not true, the bible has made us understand how Samuel, Elijah, Elisha were part and parcel of the government then.
In 2019, Primate Elijah Ayodele prophecied that Godwin Obaseki will have issues with his second term and he issued advice that he should reconcile with His predecessor.
Primate Ayodele prophecied that APC may loose Edo state. And Obaseki can win if he listens to advice and play his game well.
Unfortunately, Obaseki couldn’t and looking at things, there is hitches in his second term.
In December 2019, in an interview with Legit TV, the man of God warned Oshiomhole not to fight Obaseki because he is God’s project.
“Obaseki is God’s project, fighting him in unnecessary, Oshiomhole should leave him alone”
Again. few months ago, Primate Ayodele said it during an empowerment programme that Obaseki needs to restrategize because he sees that Oshiomhole will ease him out and he needs to involve God in the battle
” Obaseki needs to re strategize, he needs to involve God.
“Obaseki can win if he follows right advice. If he should put all his house in order.
“If Obaseki plays his game well, he will win the primaries because there are some crooked activities that is going on”
Going by this explanation, one question one needs to ask is, what will Obaseki do?
Obaseki has been going back and forth, Obaseki has been confused, and this Is what informed his decision to leave APC, If he had played his game well, he would still be in APC seeing Oshiomhole being suspended.
The powerful cleric had also said if Oshiomhole is not careful, he will not see 2023 as the national chairman of the party because he sees that he I hell Bent to ease Obaseki out.
“Oshiomhole is hell bent on easing Obaseki out of the game, he wants to replace his with Ize Iyamu.
If they mistakenly put Ize Iyamu, he should know that this isn’t a church, something will come around and if Oshiomhole isn’t careful, he will not see 2023 as the national chairman of APC.”
Following the exit of Obaseki from the party, is Oshiomhole not on his way from being an Ex-National chairman of the APC?
With this, it Is only fair to note that Primate Ayodele’s prophecies on this remains genuine.
