Unpaid Stipends: Npower beneficiaries brutally attack Minister after Eid-el-Kabir message

Npower Beneficiaries has attacked Minister Farouq on herTwitter Page over unpaid Npower stipends after she took to issue a congratulatory message on the Sallah celebration.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq on Friday was under attack after she issued a prayerful message to people on the occasion of the 2020 Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
Onyxnews Nigeria understands that the Minister sent a happy Sallah prayer and wish to Nigerians, through the micro blogging site, Twitter, she urged them to remain safe.
The Minister issued the statement on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.
She tweeted : “May the Almighty Allah accept from all of us. Happy #EidMubarak from us all
@FMHDSD. #StaySafe”

But, some of the responses she got after the post were from angry N-Power beneficiaries who were yet to get their June and July stipends.
The beneficiaries replied that it is unfair of her to wish them a happy Sallah celebration when they have not been paid their outstanding salaries.
The N-Power scheme is a social intervention programme of the federal government of Nigeria which is managed by her Ministry.
About 500,000 beneficiaries are employed by the scheme under its Batch A and B, while the process of recruiting another 400,000 Nigerians as Batch C beneficiaries of the scheme is still ongoing.
