Over 100 persons reportedly killed as explosion rocks city of Lebanon (Photos/Video)

Over 100 people were reportedly killed and 4,000 wounded after an explosion rocked Beirut, Lebanon.
Onyxnews Nigeria quoted state-run media reports that more than 100 people were killed by a terrible explosion which occurred on Tuesday in Beirut, capital of Lebanon.
This incident has rendered many homeless, while hundreds of persons are missing.
According to Lebanon’s Health minister, Ghassan Hasbani who confirmed the sad incident on Wednesday revealed that the death toll will rise.
Many charity organisations are on the ground providing medical care, shelter, supplies and other desperately required services to assist the city recover and rehabilitate.
Medical system has been exhausted due to too much use rendering it about $5 billion worth of damage.
Meanwhile, it is still not clear what exactly caused the explosion.
However, Lebanon’s prime minister announced that an investigation would focus on an estimated 2,750 metric tons of the explosive ammonium nitrate stored at a warehouse.
