Outcome of Buhari’s meeting with Oshiomhole emerged (Full details)

Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the former national chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole has revealed the details of his meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday.
This online news platform gathered that Oshiomhole addressed the State House correspondents after the meeting, he stated that President Buhari has warned against violence in the upcoming governorship election in Edo State.
Oshiomhole said: “I briefed him on what is happening. You know his attitude is always clear about the Nigerian electorate, that their rights must always be respected.
“Anybody using unlawful weapons, violence to intimidate the electorate, the president will never support such causes. And on that, we are together”.
The former Edo state governor also said that he had run elections in Edo state three times without violence and that “the only thing that has changed is: who is the governor, who boasts of his immunity and so on.”
He warned that “the courts are there, the police are there and they will do their job.
“It doesn’t matter which party anybody belongs, the laws are the same.”

On the other view, President Buhari had another closed-door meeting with ex president Goodluck Jonathan.
After the conclusion of the meeting, the details of their discussions were yet to be disclosed, but sources suggested it was all about the ongoing mediation in the political crisis in Mali.
Dr Goodluck Jonathan had been at the forefront of moves to midwife a peace deal in the Malian impasse as a Special Envoy.
West African subregional leaders had been making moves to avert a full-blown civil war in the country, requesting all sides in the conflict to make some comprise in an offer to end hostilities.
