BBNaija: Laycon reveals why he has not spoken with Erica
The winner of the BBNaija 2020 season 5 Lockdown Edition, Laycon, revealed why he did not communicate with Erica when he left the reality show.
Recall that Erica had serious disagreements with Laycon while she was at BBNaija House, which ultimately unknowingly disqualified her from the show.
So in an interview with the BBC, Laycon made it clear that the reason for not talking to Erica is not the difference between them, but the fact that she has recently been busy trying to fit in with her new schedule, her style and work.
Laycon said, “I haven’t talked to Erica, I really don’t have a phone. I just have everything I use now to make sure I’m online to go through all these processes.”
He said he has not had the opportunity to have fun yet, “this is because he has too much lately, he is still trying to record songs, go to interviews, how can he find time to sleep.”
Laycon was then asked if he planned to speak physically with Erica when he had time, to which he replied that he would of course do so when the time came, but not yet when he tried to sort things out. He wants to calm down, he wants to think about doing things.
Laycon talked about Erica trying to kiss her during the show and said she did not want to talk about it during the conversation because it could lead to another attack because Erica could have been angry in time
He said he had no idea what had happened the day before Erica’s disqualification because he had to control his reaction, adding that he knew he was a wonderful person, that he was just himself that night. it was not.
Laycon commented on the kiss conversation, saying: “I would have approached the conversation about the kiss if I felt it would not escalate to a point where there would be a big argument, given that he was already in two strike.”
