Just In: Petrol Tanker Explodes On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway (Video)

A fuel-laden tanker has exploded and gone up in flames at the Kara end of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The explosion which claimed atleast two lives and destroyed 28 vehicles happened at 1 am on Saturday without firefighters around.
Many motorists travelling out of Lagos were held in traffic.
Our reporter, who stumbled on the incident, observed that some vehicles had been trapped in the fire.
Some motorists have also resorted to driving against delay in order to avoid heavy traffic.
