OnyxNews Nigeria reports that the members of the Abuja Newspapers Distributors Association (ANDA) took over the streets of Abuja to protest the killing of their colleague by a security officer attached to the Speaker of the House of Representative, Femi Gbajabiamila.
The peaceful protest started after members of ANDA converged at the distribution center in Area 1.
They were captured with different placards, seeking justice over the incident.

The President of ANDA, Benji Obute, had earlier stated that the peaceful protest was organized to draw the attention of the Speaker and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to the incident.
However, Femi Gbajabiamila confirmed on Friday morning that the security aide has been suspended from his convoy.
Gbajabiamila said the sad incident occurred close to the Federal Secretariat on Thursday when he stopped the convey to exchange pleasantries with the vendors as this was his usual practice after work.
