Kankara Students: How Soldiers Rescued Kidnapped Schoolboys, DHQ Explains
DHQ has explained how soldiers rescued the kidnapped schoolboys.
The Defence Headquarters says that the Operation Hadarin Daji troops successfully rescued all 344 abducted students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State on Thursday following reliable information.
The Director Defence Information, Major General John Enenche, made this revealed in a statement on Friday in Abuja.
Enenche said the rescue was in keeping to the military promise to ensure the safe return of all abducted students.
According to him, the students were rescued using credible intelligence by the gallant troops, with high degree of professionalism to ensure they were all rescued alive.

He said: “The Military High Command commends troops of Operation Hadarin Daji including all security agencies for their dexterity.
“The members of general public who volunteered information are also appreciated.”
Recall according to reports by News Agency of Nigeria, the abducted students were rescued in Zamfara State before being transported to Katsina State, where they were handed over to Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State earlier on Friday.
