Though it is unclear if the clubbers at Cubana night club were arrested, however, some videos published on the micro-blogging site, Twitter by netizens, show police officers of the Lagos Police Command refusing to allow clubbers willingly leave the night club premises.

But, the arrest is coming barely a day after Governor Sanwo-Olu re-imposed COVID-19 restrictions in Lagos State, where he noted that concerts, carnivals and street parties are banned in Lagos State indefinitely, just as night clubs have not been allowed to open yet, noting that “all night clubs in Lagos must immediately shut down, until further notice.”
