The United States Of America Congress has officially confirmed Joe Biden as the country’s President.
OnyxNews Nigeria reports that Senators who officially confirmed Biden as the country’s 46th president and Kamala Harris as Vice President, were under heavily-armed guard after police regained control of the Capitol in Washington.

Biden had defeated the US outgoing President, Donald Trump in the last presidential election.
Even with the defeat, Trump had vowed never to concede defeat.
