After Buhari Said Insurgency Will End This Year, Major General Eneche Backed up the claim.
OnyxNews Nigeria reported that Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari, through the Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Magashi Salihi (Rtd) in a Juma’at prayer that was held for fallen troops who died serving their father’s land has made it known that insurgency will come to an end in Nigeria this year, through prayers and the effort of the government and troops.
However, according to Nigeria Tribune on Friday, it has been alleged that the coordinator of Defence Media Operations, Major General Paul Enenche has also backed up the claim made by the president.

According to what he said, it was stated that the Defence Headquarters (DHQ), was on the final stage of counter territorism and anti banditry operations in the North West region of the country.
While answering questions from the weekly press briefing in Abuja, Major General Eneche said that the Nigerian troops are at the domination stage, as physical encounters between the Nigerian troops and the terrorists are on the low level.
