Bandits Storm Bishop Oyedepo’s Church, Abduct Members.
Onyxnewsng reports unknown gunmen said to be bandits have stormed and attacked a branch of Living Faith Church Worldwide at Osara community, along Lokoja-Okene road in Adavi Local Government Council of Kogi State.
Onyxnewsng learnt that the kidnappers, who stormed the church premises when some of its members were rehearsing during the weekend, abducted about three members.
The killers were said to have stormed the area, shooting sporadically to scare away interveners before whisking away the victims to an unknown destination.
The Chairman of Adavi Local Government Council, Joseph Omuya Salami, confirmed the sad news to pressmen on Monday evening through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Habeeb Jamiu.
According to him, the chairman had visited the scene in company of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Osara Division since the incident happened.
Habeeb Jamiu added that the council was working with security agents in the area to ensure that the victims are not hurt and rescued.

The Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Williams Ovye Aya, had not answered calls for comment as at the time of filing this report.
