BREAKING: Buhari Sacks, Replaces Controller General Of Federal Fire Service
Acting Controller General of Federal Fire Service, Samson Karebo has been Sacked.
Buhari Appoints Abdulganiyu Jaji as new CG President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Abdulganiyu Jaji as the new Controller General (CG)of the Federal Fire Service (FFS) with effect from April 22, 2022.
Mrs Aisha Rufai, Secretary to the Civil Defence, Immigration and Prisons Service Board (CDIPB), announced on Tuesday in an official statement.
Before he was appointed CG, Jaji was the Deputy Controller General (DCG) in charge of Administration and Supplies at the FFS.
He succeeds Acting Controller General Samson Karebo, who took office as acting Controller General when former Controller General Ibrahim Liman resigned.
The newly appointed Controller General, Onyxnewsng gathered he began his career as a Higher Technical Officer at the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing in 1991.
“Before being redeployed to the Federal Fire Service in 1999, he served many roles in the Ministry.
“He was born on August 13, 1965, in Ilorin, Kwara State, to the family of Alh. Umar Olola Jaji.
It stated, “He has a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1999 and is married with children.”
