JUST IN: Popular Nigerian Lawmaker Declared Wanted
Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, the governor of Rivers State, has declared a member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Farah Dagogo, wanted for allegedly hiring suspected cultists to attack the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) state secretariat in Port Harcourt.
Wike, through his Special Assistant on Media, Kelvin Ebiri, released a statement on Wednesday night ordering the Rivers State Police Command to arrest Dagogo immediately.
“The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has declared Hon. Farah Dagogo wanted for allegedly hiring cultists to attack the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat in Port Harcourt,” the statement reads.
“The governor has directed the Rivers State Police Command to arrest Hon. Farah Dagogo for hiring cultists who stormed the PDP secretariat in Port Harcourt and disrupted the screening of aspirants for various elective positions,” the statement reads.
The police must arrest Dagogo as soon as possible, wherever he is, and bring him to justice.”
“Some of Farah Dagogo’s hired hoodlums have already been arrested and will face the full force of the law.”
