Redeemed Pastor Introduces Peter Obi As President Of Nigeria
Pastor Agu Irukwu of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on Sunday referred to Peter Obi as “President.”
The senior pastor of the Jesus House for All Nations Parish in Brent Cross, London, mistakenly said that during church service.
Introducing Peter Obi, Irukwu said: “And we have the president, ah, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi.
“We always appreciate Mr Peter Obi. God, we appreciate him, we appreciate him.”
In spite of their leader’s slip of the tongue, the congregation erupted in cheers and many church members got up for an ovation.
