Eredivisie: Chuba Akpom’s Strikes Helps Ajax Out Of Relegation Spot
Nigerian-born forward Chuba Akpom scored a brace to help Ajax defeat Heerenveen 4-1 in an Eredivisie match on Sunday.
He scored in the 84th and 90th minutes, after substituted in in the 74th minute.
Akpom scored his first goal for Ajax in the match against Volendam in the middle of the week.
Ajax is now 8th on the table with 14 points from 11 matches, six points clear of the relegation zone.
