Breaking: Court Of Appeal Upheld Election Of Governor Titus Alia Of Benue State

The election of Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has been affirmed by the Court of Appeal in Abuja.
The appeal by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Titus Uba, who contested in the last governorship election, was dismissed by the court.
The PDP and Uba had challenged the decision of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which had earlier dismissed their petition against Alia’s victory.
Governor Alia, who ran under the All Progressives Congress (APC), emerged as the winner of the governorship election held on March 18.
In a unanimous judgment, a three-member panel addressed and resolved the three issues brought up by the appellants, ultimately ruling that the appeal lacked merit.
