Kaduna Bombing: There Were Lack Of Coordination Among Security Agencies – Gov Sani
According to Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, there was a lack of coordination among Nigeria’s security agencies in the aftermath of the accidental bombing in Tudun-Biri.
He called on the Senate to ensure that the survivors of the bombing receive the justice they deserve.
Governor Sani on Sunday made his comments in response to remarks made by Senator Barau Jibrin, who spoke on behalf of Senate President Godswill Akpabio during a condolence visit to Sir Kashim Ibrahim House.
He vowed that the State Government will continue to provide support and assistance to security agencies as they carry out their essential duties.
He stressed the importance of a collaborative approach to ensure the safety and security of all Nigerians.
Here’s a rephrased version:
The governor additionally, called for a thorough investigation into the accidental bombing by the Army, and for those responsible to be held accountable.
He urged that measures be taken to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
In addition, he stressed the need for a state police force to complement the current security structure, as he has done in the past as He believes that a state police force would be better equipped to address the specific security challenges facing Kaduna State.
In addition to Senator Jibrin announcement that the salaries of senators would be donated to the Tudun-Biri community in light of the tragic incident, He also expressed his heartfelt condolences to the community and shared his sympathy for the suffering they have endured.
He was accompanied by Senators Ali Ndume, Lawal Usman, Abba Moro, Opeyemi Bamidele, Naziru Yar’Adua, and others.
Their presence served as a show of solidarity and support for the community.
The delegation visited the injured victims at Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital in Kaduna and offered their condolences. They took the time to speak with each patient and expressed their hope for a full and speedy recovery.
They also extended their gratitude to the medical staff for their tireless efforts to care for the victims.
