Why I’m Promoting Wizkid’s New Song – Davido
Popular Nigerian musician David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has recently disclosed his reasons for promoting his colleague Wizkid’s new song.
Davido and Wizkid, who are both extremely successful musicians in Nigeria, were seen together at a party in Lagos last weekend.
This gathering seemed to have prompted Davido to put an end to the rumored feud between them.
Following their meeting, Davido took to his social media platforms to share Wizkid’s latest song.
However, some of Davido’s ardent fans criticized him for promoting his rival’s music.
@DaddyZee01, notably wrote: “Davido, you dey gba fr.”
In response to the backlash, Davido explained that he decided to make peace with Wizkid, expressing his intention to support him.
He wrote; “Nah you know. I’m 31 years old. I want peace.”
It is worth noting that Wizkid had previously announced the release of his four-track album EP, titled “Soundman Vol.2,” which is scheduled to be available on Friday, December 22.
