Copa Del Rey: FC Barcelona To Face Athletic FC In Quarter-final Round [Full Draw]
On Friday, the draw for the Copa del Rey quarter-finals took place.
Barcelona has been paired with Athletic Club in a bid to secure a spot in the last four.
Xavi’s team overcame a one-goal deficit to defeat Unionistas de Salamanca 3-1 on Thursday.
With 23 Copa del Rey titles to their name, Athletic also progressed by winning 2-0 against Alavés.
Sevilla will face Atlético Madrid, who eliminated Real Madrid from the competition.
Girona, current leaders of La Liga, will be away at Mallorca, while Celta Vigo, three-time finalists, will host Real Sociedad.
The quarterfinal matches will be played as single games on January 23, 24, and 25.
