Ukraine Military Launches Drone Raids On Russian Positions
Ukraine retaliated against recent heavy Russian missile attacks with drone strikes in Russia.
This led to a depot of tanks owned by the oil company Lukoil in the Volgograd region catching fire.
Regional Governor Andrey Bocharov attributed the incident to debris from drones that had been shot down, falling on the depot in Kalach on the Don.
“The fire was extinguished,” he said.
In response, the Russian Ministry of Defence announced that they had intercepted 38 Ukrainian combat drones overnight in the Belgorod, Kursk, Voronezh, Rostov, and Astrakhan regions.
