VIDEO: ‘Don’t Spray Money Or You’ll Become Kirikiri Landlord’ – Bobrisky
Following the released from prison, popular crossdresser Bobrisky (whose real name is Idris Okuneye) has spoken out against the misuse of the Nigerian currency, the naira.
It is worth noting that this comes after Bobrisky was convicted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on April 5 for deliberately damaging naira notes.
The EFCC had charged Bobrisky with four counts related to naira abuse.
During sentencing, Justice Awogboro emphasized that the ruling would serve as a deterrent to others who mishandle the naira.
In a recent interview with GoldMyneTV, Okuneye urged Nigerians to handle the naira with respect and warned against abuse, sharing his personal experience as a cautionary tale to avoid imprisonment.
He said, “You have to follow the rules and abide by the laws. Don’t spray money, or you will become a landlord in Kirikiri.
“It is not just about killing or any criminal activity that can bring you to prison. Something as light as spaying of naira can take you there.”
“I’m only focusing on my good energy right now on people who were there for me, like my friends. You see, any other person, I’m not interested. So, I don’t want to talk about them. I’m really grateful to my friends and loved ones,”Bobrisky added.
