‘I’ve Tried My Best’ – Jude Okoye Reveals Amid Rift Between P-square Brothers
Jude Okoye, the longtime manager of the disbanded P-Square group, has addressed the recent turmoil involving the group’s former members, Peter and Paul Okoye.
The public rift escalated when Paul Okoye, known as Rudeboy, disclosed in an interview the group’s re-split, accusing his twin brother, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P, of implicating him and their older brother, Jude Okoye, in alleged fraudulent activities with the EFCC.
Following this revelation, Peter penned an open letter to his twin, Paul, denouncing him for damaging his reputation and alleging collusion between Paul and their elder brother, Jude, in defrauding him.
In response to the accusations, Jude Okoye dismissed Peter’s claims of fraud during an Instagram live session on Saturday, asserting that Peter distorted the facts to imply wrongdoing.
Jude also contended that Peter dragged him into the situation knowing that blame would be unjustly placed on him for not resolving the conflicts between his younger siblings.
He said: “These people [Peter and Paul] have children that are teenagers. If they were in America, they would be grandfathers now. Why is it that Peter always involved me in their fight? It’s because he had that impression that people always called Jude, the elder one, [to say] ‘go and settle your brothers, go and put your family in order’.
“What do you mean by go and put your family in order? My family is in order. Let them put their family in order. If they are doing business together, let them put it in order. I have tried to the point I sacrificed myself.”
